Privacy Disclosure

AptiTest privacy and cookies

AptiTest uses essential cookies and similar browser storage to secure sign-in, keep sessions active, remember privacy choices, and support core product flows. Optional analytics is disabled for launch.

Essential only at launch

Authentication and security storage remains active because the platform cannot operate safely without it.

Individuals stay signed in

Individual auth cookies are configured to persist according to the current session policy unless the user signs out or the session becomes invalid.

Built to expand later

The consent panel is versioned so optional categories can be introduced later without affecting essential auth behavior today.

1. Cookies and similar storage we use today

aptitest_session

Encrypted HTTP-only cookie used to maintain the authenticated session and refresh access securely.

aptitest_session_present

Lightweight browser-visible cookie used to detect whether an authenticated session is present.

Browser storage

AptiTest also uses local or session storage for consent state, theme preferences, terms acceptance, and specific in-product continuity features such as assessment progress and scheduling feedback.

2. Optional analytics

Vercel Speed Insights has been disabled for launch. AptiTest is not currently activating optional analytics cookies through that service.

3. Your choices

You can accept the current cookie setup, reject optional cookies, or customise settings. Rejecting optional cookies still keeps essential authentication and security storage active.
